荊州敏光科技有限公司（前荊州市光電技術研究所，原野村儀器制造有限公司）位于荊州高新技術產業開發區內，是一家長期從事工業用測控儀表研發、生產的高技術公司。我公司曾經參加輻射測溫儀國家計量檢定規程的起草工作，并被授予“國家監督檢查質量連續合格企業”稱號，我公司是中國光學光電子行業協會紅外分會成員單位。
   公司創始人涂家復同志是享受國務院津貼的科技專家，主持過多項重要科研項目的研發工作。公司擁有豐富的測量、傳感器方面的研發技術和實踐經驗。公司現主導產品HWGS-2系列紅外雙色測溫儀技術性能達到國際同類產品水平。曾獲湖北省科技進步獎，并被列為國家級新產品, 主要應用在鋼鐵化工等領域。
    敏光公司目前的研發項目為無線傳感器網絡產品和智能分析儀器。無線傳感器網絡被列為2005年度荊州市科技發展計劃項目之一，是一項極居發展潛力的技術，將被廣泛地應用于工業生產、軍事安全、環境監測、交通管理、醫療衛生、精細農業、智能家居、反恐抗災等領域，是信息感知和采集的一場革命。
